Masters of craft,
material and wood.

Where experience matters most.

The floor is the foundation of every indoor space, setting the ambiance, showcasing taste, and conveying prestige. It must endure decades of daily wear and tear—foot traffic, children, pets, spills, falling objects, heavy furnishings, and, in our region, salty Canadian winters.

Perfecting a floor is truly an art; mastering a hardwood floor is both an art and a science. It requires extensive experience, a thorough understanding of materials, and a diverse range of skills.

We earn that trust through our unwavering dedication to custom design floors, award-winning customer service, and meticulous handcrafted details that elevate every installation. Proudly sourcing sustainably harvested wood from premier mills in Europe. We deliver timeless beauty and superior durability to our clients from coast to coast.

Our process

Our clients approach us with a wide variety of projects. We seamlessly match new flooring to existing ones, flawlessly blending timber types, patterns, wood consistency, and color tones.

New, old, or a blend

Nothing falls through the cracks

For older buildings and renovations, we have specialists dedicated to comprehensive subfloor preparation. They handle grinding, leveling, and replacing damaged subfloors, eliminating squeaks and groans, and ensuring the older underflooring is ready for new hardwood, without compromising on quality.

In our workshop, we utilize advanced CNC technology, creating custom jigs and other tools to produce elegantly complex floor designs. Our specialty work now includes gym floors of various sizes and levels of intricacy. We consistently rise to the challenges presented by our architecture and interior design clients, fulfilling their most expansive visions.

Our ever-growing project portfolio

Finishes and fabrications tailored to each project

Depending on a floor’s intended purpose, we apply penetrating oils, hard-wax oils, or polyurethane finishes. We are adept at working with a variety of finishing products, including Rubio Monocoat, WOCA, Bona and Osmo. Beyond flooring, we also fabricate both new and old cladding, stair steps/treads and nosings, as well as custom HVAC grills and built-in electrical covers designed to blend in seamlessly.

As a BONA-certified team and certified NWFA member, we uphold the highest standards:

  • We use sanding and dust containment equipment from industry leaders like Lagler, Festool, and BONA

  • Our dustless refinishing process employs the BONA Portable DCS Dust Extractor, 600DCS Dust Containment system, and BONA Hepa Vacuum filter to greatly reduce dust and improve indoor air quality
